Congratulations goes to the Golden States Warriors, who are the 2017 NBA World Champions. After failing to capture the title last year following their 3-1 lead against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Warriors sought revenge this year and now the Kevin Durant-led monsters won 129-120 victory Monday night to take the 4-1 series win.
Kevin Durant was named MVP after averaging over 35 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. Meanwhile, Steph & Draymond were no slouches either, as Curry was lethal from behind the arc per usual & Draymond brought the energy & played rim protector all series long.
Serving as the Warriors second title in three years, reports surfaced the other day that some of the players are willing to take a pay cut in order to keep the team together. With that said, you better get used to the Warriors being good for a while cause they’re here to stay.
