George Lopez is filmed in conflict with a patron at Hooters.

George Lopez had made it public knowledge that he is neither a fan nor a supporter of President Donald Trump. Earlier this year, the actor and comedian was filmed mockingly relieving himself on top of Donald Trump's Hollywood star. He jokingly used a water bottle to imitate the acting urinating over the star, allowing fans in his vicinity to laugh at and share in the moment. Last year, Lopez clapped back at news of one Trump's policies by emblazoning one of his Instagram posts with the message, "The Trump administration is deporting Latinos to make the streets safer...  You wanna make the streets safer deport the police!"

Recently, George was captured in an altercation with an unidentified man at a New Mexico Hooters. The fight is said to have occurred after tensions between Lopez and the fellow patron reached a boiling point as Lopez was exiting the restaurant. The patron had been shouting pro-Trump comments throughout the night, supposedly with the intent of irritating Lopez. It becomes evident that he was intentionally seeking Lopez's attention in the video footage obtained by TMZ. The patron in question films himself against a wall waiting for Lopez to pass by saying, "here comes my boy George,' to a visibly displeased George Lopez. George proceeds to attempt to take the camera away from the young man and appears to lay hands on him as he is heard saying, "look at [George Lopez], he's a [expletive], he wants to fight me."
