With the final season of Game Of Thrones premiering on Sunday, many have already begun bracing themselves for the television event of the new millennium. With hype levels reaching near unfathomable heights, it's no wonder that many in the musical community have come forward to honor the HBO series. Today, Columbia Records has announced For The Throne, a companion album of music inspired by Game Of Thrones. For the record, the music on this project will not be appearing in the final season; leave that to the masterful Ramin Djawadi.
Still, For The Throne has pulled out several heavy hitters, including A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, SZA, Travis Scott Joey Bada$$, Lil Peep, The National, Matt Bellamy, Ty Dolla $ign, Mumford & Sons, and more. You can see the full roster right here, though the tracklist has yet to be unveiled. The album is set to arrive on April 26th, a few days before the final season's midway episode. Will you be checking this one out?
