Yesterday marked the third episode of the eight season of Game of Thrones and as such, millions of viewers gathered around their television to witness the most anticipated and epic battle to date: The Battle of Winterfell. Last week's episode made its rightful impact on fans and sprouted reactions of all sorts. With a surprise scene involving the youngest Stark, Arya, losing her virginity to long-time friend Gendry to Podry's secret singing skills, it is fair to say Game of Thrones has not held back on keeping viewers entertained. On the other hand, the third episode did not fail to measure up to viewer expectations and consisted of a rigorous, bloody and suspenseful battle where our favorite characters found themselves in the most intricate predicaments. Lives were lost, fights were won and dragons fought, but most importantly, fans were given everything they expected from this long-awaited battle and more.
