Yes, the public is still not over it. The infamous Game of Thrones sex scene with professional knife-wielding Arya Stark and the Baratheon bastard Gendry. The chatter continues, the memes are still everywhere and even the young actress who plays Arya spoke up on the issue. In recent news, however, the actor behind the role of Podrick Payne also chimed in on the aftermath of an infamous sex scene.

Daniel Portman, the 27-year old Swiss actor who acted as the non-POV character for the series' entirety, rose to prominence following his performance in a now infamous sex scene from season 3, episode 3. Herein, Tyrion Lannister sent three prostitutes to rid Podry of his virginity. Once the act was done, the playfriends let Podry go free of charge due to his apparent sexual prowess. The latter marked Podrick's debut as a sex god.
Since the scene was revealed to viewers, Portman admits to having undergone quite "touchy" experiences with fans. The actor told Esquire: "I’ve been grabbed by so many… like the amount of like older, older women who are very...”, he then goes on to mimic a groping hand gesture. Moreover, the star admits to finding the latter uncomfortable and "not cool."

Perhaps, this commentary will serve as a heads-up to actor Joe Dempsie, who starred as Gendry in the surprise sex-scene with co-star Maisie Williams. As best stated by Daniel Portman “I don't want to say it comes with the territory, but, you know, people are crazy about it. It's certainly not cool."
