Rapper Future performs on the Coachella Stage during day 2 of the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival (Weekend 1) at the Empire Polo Club on April 15, 2017 in Indio, California.
Future wants to drop a mixtape before he releases his album.

Future's been relatively quiet for the majority of the year with the exception of the Superfly soundtrack he curated. Everyone's been thirsty for new tunes from the ATLien. Zaytoven previously stated that Beast Mode 2 would be arriving sometime soon although Future has yet to confirm that himself. However, it looks like there's a chance Future could be dropping a new mixtape in the near future.

Future already has new music in the stash but it looks like it's a matter of when he wants to release it. The rapper's currently working on his album but it looks like he wants to feed the streets something new ahead of it.

"Should I give my fans a mixtape until my album complete?" He wrote, "Can’t keep the streets waiting."

The answer to his question is: yes. Yes, Future should definitely drop a new mixtape because yes, the streets have been waiting for some new heaters.

In early June, it was revealed that Future was absent from the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time in over three years which is an indication to his prolific output throughout his career. However, the rapper revealed shortly after that he's "fully loaded" while teasing new music. Hopefully, those songs see the light of day in the coming weeks.
