It's been a minute since we've heard an album from Future, but it would appear that the rapper is looking to start the year off right. Not long after dropping off his new single "Crushed Up," Fewtch and his team have come through with an exciting announcement. A recent press release from his publicist indicates that his seventh studio album will be arriving on January 18th, 2019, marking the first major release of the New Year.
The project, which has yet to receive a title, marks the rapper's first followup since the excellent tandem of 2017's Future & HNDRXX. If that wasn't enough content, Future will also be releasing an accompanying documentary titled The WIZRD, exclusively via Apple Music and produced by Mass Appeal. One has to wonder if Future's album will share a title, though confirmation has yet to arrive. In any case, the feature-length film promises an intimate look into Future's life, unlike anything we've seen thus far.
Clearly, Future is about to mount a productive 2019 campaign. The rapper previously promised his best work yet, and given the bar he's already set for himself, such tidings bode well. Be sure to check what may very well be the album's lead single right here, and sound off below. Are you ready for that new Future album?
