If you missed it the other day, the on-going lawsuit between Lil Wayne & Birdman has been put to rest. In a statement to Billboard, Weezy’s lawyer, Ron Sweeney, says Wayne reached a settlement with Cash Money and Universal Music Group, rumored to be over $10 million.
"Per our settlement agreement, the matter has been amicably resolved to the satisfaction of all parties,” Sweeney said. “In terms of the particulars, we’re prohibited legally from saying anything further.”
With that said, it looks like the Carter V has been freed to see the light of day now, and already we have some info about it. On Friday night, French Montana took to Twitter to inform followers that he & Justin Bieber are featured on an upcoming record off the Carter V, which he says is “crazy.”
“Gotta a crazy joint with lil Wayne and Justin Bieber on carter 5 🔥The goat 🐐 is back 🔥💨” French wrote.
Unfortunately he didn't reveal anything further about the record, like when we might be able to hear it, but it’s definitely nice to see some details about it.
