George Floyd was killed in broad daylight by a Minneapolis police officer by the name of Derek Chauvin last week. Since that time, Chauvin has been arrested and charged with third-degree murder, while the officers who watched Chavin do it, have yet to be booked. Floyd's death sparked widespread outrage throughout the United States and even the world at large. Now, protests are raging all across the country as people are demanding real change to be enacted.
Many celebrities have spoken out about this injustice and some have even donated to important causes. Floyd Mayweather is joining that fight and according to TMZ, he has offered the Floyd family enough money to pay for four of George's upcoming funeral services.

There are plans for a service in Minnesota, Houston, Charlotte, and another place that has yet to be determined as of right now. In the report, it states that one of Mayweather's TMT employees grew up with Floyd and it inspired him to want to contribute. It remains to be seen whether or not the Floyd's will accept Mayweather's money as there have already been numerous GoFundMe in Floyd's honor.
Regardless, this is an incredible gesture from Mayweather and it's commendable that he wants to make a difference in such a way.
