We celebrate positivity and collaboration in hip-hop. While on Open Late with Peter Rosenberg, Famous Dex opened up and let audiences know that there isn't animosity between him and fellow musician Rich The Kid amidst recent speculation that the two weren't on good terms.
Earlier in June, while on Instagram live, Dex responded to a follower who broached the subject of a potential beef between the rapper and his peer Rich The Kid, and the reports that he had left the Rich Forever Label. Dex responded saying that he was all about the positivity, and was not beefing with his "brother," or involved in any other disputes for that matter. "Rich The Kid and Jay Critch are my family. Don't let this internet s**t fool Y'all. One thing about Dexter: Dexter do not internet beef," he said. "Rich The Kid is my brother and Uzi is my boy. It's not no sneak dissing, bro. Leave the beef alone. What about 6ix9ine? 6ix9ine my homie too."
While on Open Late, Dex told host Peter Rosenberg that he and Rich The Kid had taken the time to have an honest discussion. "It's still Rich Forever. We talked," he confirmed. "Nobody will ever know what we talk about. There world ain't gotta know what's going on. They see what's going on." He also discussed the success of "Japan," "Pick it Up," and the trajectory of his career.
Dex joined actress and entrepreneur La La Anthony and comedian Jess Hilarious on the show. You can watch the interview below.
