After debuting her new cover of FADER yesterday, Erykah Badu quickly returns to the site with the release of her new remix to Wintertime's "Thru It All." For those unfamiliar, Wintertime is buzzing on Soundcloud (just under 20k followers), and he's probably best described as an Internet rapper, with a Lil Yachty-esque soft vocals and melodic, but simple production.
Erykah Badu takes on one of his biggest records, "Thru It All," and keeps very closely in line with his original by not only referencing his original lyrics but his flow as well. Does this co-sign mean Wintertime's about to break? Erykah does say in the song's description "(u bout to blow up boi)?"
