Teejay Stainer is 10-year boy living in England who had his lower right leg amputated when he was 14 months old after being born with without a calf bome. With the help of prosthetics, he's lived a relatively normal life, walking, climbing trees and even playing sports. He has been a fan of Eminem since he was 2 years old. He has drawn so much inspiration from Eminem's lyrics that he got customized Eminem prosthetic legs made for him.
Over the summer, His parents photographed him holding up a sign that read, "These are my Eminem legs I've had made. My wish is for Eminem to see them," and uploaded the image to Facebook, after which it spread like wildfire across social media.
A couple months later, Teejay received a package in the mail: an autographed copy of Recovery sent by Shady himself. "To Teejay," he wrote, "I saw your pic and read your message! Thanks for the support!"
Teejay was stoked AF. "I was amazed when I saw the CD. I just wanted to thank him for getting me through the difficult times and show him how dedicated I am. I think he sent me that album in particular because of the recovery that I've made."
