Warning: Spoilers Ahead.

The final episode to Game of Thrones concluding season aired yesterday. After a tumultuous season full of surprises, we finally reached the end of the good, bad and ugly. As fans wept the show ending, the series' cast bid their farewell and recalled the incredible journey they underwent to provide over a decade's worth of epic content. Though it remains important to note that not all were pleased with the turn of events portrayed in season eight. Relatedly, some have begged for the franchise to go back to the drawing board and remake the entire season. And while the request seems absurd to some, it is understandable considering the unexpected character arches the final season had in store. Precisely, fans were disappointed by the evolution of a series lead, Daenerys Targaryen, portrayed by actress Emilia Clarke.

Furthermore, according to Page Six, the actress behind the Mother of Dragons did not mind the opinion of fans. She even went onto defending the final episode. Though she did fear the opinion of another queen, music icon Beyonce Knowles. Indeed, Clarke sat down for an interview with the New Yorker and revealed Beyonce praised the Dragon Queen. At the time, however, the hit-singer had no idea what the final season had planned. Emilia Clarke added: "All I wanted to scream was ‘Please, please still like me even though my character turns into a mass-killing dictator! Please still think that I’m representing women in a really fabulous way."

Poor, Dany. Hopefully, Beyonce will forgive you.
