Drake remained relatively quiet for the latter half of 2017 only to kick off 2018 on a massive note. Three weeks into the year and the rapper blessed us with his Scary Hours EP which featured "Diplomatic Immunity" and the chart topping single, "God's Plan." For eleven weeks straight, the rapper held the number one position with "God's Plan" which is now his longest leading number one single. However, the rapper has now dethroned himself at the top of the charts as "Nice For What" has taken the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100.
Drake now has two singles that have debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 this year as "Nice For What" has replaced "God's Plan" for the top position. Drake's new single makes him the thirteenth artist to replace himself at number one. However, the biggest part about this is Drake has now made Billboard history with his new feat. Drake's the first artist to replace himself for the top position with another song that has debuted at number one. "God's Plan" immediately shot to the top of the charts.
While it's a massive win for Drake, it also marks a first for the song's producer, Murda Beatz. The Fort Eerie producer has now received his first number one single at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
