The Diplomats A.K.A Dipset, hit the stage at Spotify's Rap Caviar concert in New York earlier this week marking the collectives first proper comeback.
The group that consists of Cam'Ron, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, and Freekey Zekey revealed that an EP and documentary are in the works during a visit to MTV's TRL.
“We’re working on a Dipset docu- EP right now so it’ll be very dope/ movie/ 7 songs” Jim Jones revealed.
One of the leads from the crew, Juelz Santana, has found time to continue working on his solo career with "I Can't Feel My Face," a Lil Wayne assisted track that has been talked about since way back in 2008.
After Dipset's Rap Caviar performance, Juelz and Drake linked up for a Facetime chat after Drizzy just touched down in Toronto getting off a 20-hour flight back from Australia, having he just wrapped up his Boy Meets World Tour.
In the video below, you can see Juelz telling Drake that he needs to send over samples for him and Wayne's highly anticipated track. “Mack told me you were cooking up some shit, I got some joints,” Drake replies.
We'll have to hold tight for an official drop of this talked about song, especially since it's been in the works for nine years. In the meantime, another member of the Dipset collective, Cam'ron, has dropped music to bump with his Don Q assisted beat "Hello" and his solo single, "Lean."
The Rap Caviar performance also saw A$AP Rocky take the stage where he set aside his humble mannerisms to declare himself the "the greatest contemporary artist."
“In case ya’ll don’t know, like I said last time, I’m the greatest fuckin’ artist of all-time n****a. Yeah, I’m on my cocky Kanye shit, whatever the fuck, suck my dick with that n***a," he said to the crowd. "I’m the greatest contemporary artist of all-time. Renaissance, contemporary, all that. I need ya’ll n****s to know, all this little razzle dazzle, bum ass shit going on, Flacko Season ’bout to drop real soon.”
