Drake season has officially arrived. After the rapper kicked off the year with a few massive singles including the chart topping, "God's Plan," speculations of what Drake had up his sleeve next began to bubble. It was clear that he was working on a new album and he mentioned it several times towards the end of 2017, but it was unsure when he'd release. Yesterday, he dropped the ball and revealed that his next album, Scorpion would be arriving in June. Now, the rapper has revealed who's executive producing it.
There hasn't been much details pertaining to Drake's forthcoming album, the rapper's kept it pretty under wraps for the most part. However, the rapper took to Instagram to reveal who'd be executive producing his next project and the rapper's kept it to his home team. OVO's 40 and Oliver El-Khatib will be holding down the roles of executive producers as the "Nice For What" rapper revealed on Instagram. 40's executive produced every Drake album since Take Care. Oliver's been executive producing Drake's projects since Views.
Hopefully, we hear more 40 production on this album. Both songs on his Scary Hours EP were produced by Boi-1da while "Nice For What" was handled by Murda Beatz, however, 40 did do additional production to the track. Either way, fans are excited about having a new Drake album in time for the summer.
