It appears OVO SZN is officially upon us y'all. Just moments ago, Drake hopped on his Instagram and informed fans that his highly anticipated Scorpion album will be dropping June 29th, two weeks from this Friday.
“JUNE 29 2018,” he wrote along with the scorpion emoji.
To coincide with the announcement, Drizzy also went ahead and revealed the project's artwork as well, which looks to be a simple black-and-white cover featuring a headshot of him and his signature “Aubrey Graham.”
As of now, the album is being led by the chart-topping singles “God’s Plan,” “Nice for What,” and “I’m Upset,” the latter of which just seen its music video get debuted tonight as well (see here). Unfortunately, there's still no word on any features for the album as Drizzy's still keeping the tracklist to himself for now. However, he did drop a hint a couple months ago that the legendary DJ Premier could be handling the production on one of the songs, but we'll have to wait and see.
For now, check out Drizzy’s announcement (below) and stay tuned for further updates, like its tracklist or hopefully another song for that matter. Who's excited to finally hear Scorpion at the end of the month?
