It's been less than a year since the release of Scorpion which dominated charts throughout 2018. The double-disc project showcased the duality of Drake's artistry: the R&B and the rap side. On a music tip, he's been relatively quiet since then but it looks like he's gearing up to release his follow-up to Scorpion. The rapper announced that he's already began working on his next project.
Drake's officially started cooking up the follow-up to Scorpion. During his show in London, the rapper announced that he just started working on his new project.
"I think what I'm gonna do -- I kinda actually started last night to be honest with you. But I think what I'm gonna do after this is I'mma go home, I'mma make a new album so I could come back to London next year and we could do this again," he announced.
The rapper previously stated that he'd be working on a new project during his Edmonton date on the "Aubrey & The Three Migos" tour last year. Since then, there have been a few snippets of new music from Drake that have surfaced on the web.
It seems pretty unlikely that he'll deliver the new project this year, and typically, he hasn't released projects during the second-half of the year -- atleast, not since Nothing Was The Same. However, there's a chance What A Time To Be Alive 2 with Future could be coming soon.
