The Canadian rapper currently recently passed Usher for the most amount of weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in a single year. The rapper's latest collaboration with Bad Bunny, "MIA" debuted at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking his 12th top 10 single of the year. "MIA" has now helped Drake pass another record set by the Beatles for the second time this year.
Drake has clocked in 12 top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 this year with his collaboration with Bad Bunny on "MIA." As the track hits number 5 on the Hot 100, Drizzy now passes The Beatles for the most amount of top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 for any act in a single year. In The Beatles breakout year in 1964, they clocked 11 top 10 singles.
This marks the second time Drake has surpassed The Beatles this year. After the release of Scorpion, Drake scored seven songs in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously. The Beatles held the record with five songs charting in the top 10 in 1964. However, The Beatles remain the only act to hold the entire top five of the chart.
"MIA" now serves as Drake's 32nd top 10 single in his career. Not only does he have the most among solo male acts, he now has the third-most overall top 10 singles following Madonna (38) and The Beatles (34). Drake also breaks his tie with Rihanna for most top 10 singles.
