According to a particular line in "Scorpion," this might be Drake's last album with Cash Money.

Their were rumors circulating online last year that following the release of Drake’s More Life playlist, the OVO rapper would be leaving Birdman’s Cash Money records label and taking his talents elsewhere. However, that didn’t happen as some thought, and Drizzy released today’s Scorpion album under Cash Money/Young Money/ Republic Records umbrella just as expected, but it’s sounding like this will be the last time in doing so though.

On the new album cut “Is There More,” Drake raps an interesting bar about this album being his last under his current deal.

“Yeah, soon as this album drop I’m out of the deal / In the house playin’ D’Angelo, ‘How Does It Feel?‘” Drake spits, which is a strong hint that he’s leaving Cash Money after Scorpion.

The exact details of the business deal are not known of course, but there could be multiple scenarios for the 6 God moving forward, like dropping music via the Warner Bros.-distributed OVO Sound imprint or via his Apple Music partnership. Either way, Drake is going to be just fine if he leaves Cash Money soon.
