Drake is no stranger to breaking records on the Billboard charts. In fact, it felt like a weekly occurrence in 2018 after he began the rollout for Scorpion. This year, he hasn't released much music with the exception of his remix of Summer Walker's "Girls Need Love." A song that's now earned Drake his 95th top 40 entry in his career.
Billboard reports that Drake is five entries away from earning 100 top 40 entries on the Billboard Hot 100. This week, Summer Walker's "Girls Need Love" remix with Drake launched from #87 to#37. Following the release of the remix, the song's streams surged by 97 percent in the week ending on March 7th. "Girls Need Love" debuted at #23 on the Billboard Streaming Songs chart. Drake continues to extend his record as the artist with the most top 40 hits. Elvis and Lil Wayne tie for the second place at 81 each.
Drake's earned 94 top 40 entries since 2009 when he released "Best I Ever Had" which peaked at #2 on the chart. Overall, Drake's earned himself 193 total Hot 100 entries which makes him the leader for all soloists.
