Drake's productivity and creativity have led many critics to accuse him of using ghostwriters in his music. Meek Mill and Funkmaster Flex have been the most prominent voices trying to shoot down the TDot emcee. According to Boi-1da though, the 6 God doesn't use a ghostwriter.
"That man is definitely a writer," he said. "One of the greatest writers ever."
Drake's long-time collaborator on songs like “Best I Ever Had,” “Forever” and “Over” didn't mice words in an interview with Motel City, a podcast based in the 6. Boi-1da said Drake is meticulous and can spend months on one song, researching his bars like "he's writing an essay."
Though the Toronto producer admitted that music is a collaborative process, he said anybody who tries to discredit Aubrey Graham from being a writer is an idiot.
"Some of his songs are so personal. How can you have somebody write that for you," he said rhetorically. Listen to the clip below and tell us what you think
