The much anticipated Dragon Ball Z x Adidas sneaker collection kicks off later this week with the release of the Adidas ZX 500 RM "Goku" and the Adidas Yung 1 "Frieza," followed by the October release of two sneakers inspired by Cell and Son Gohan.
Official images of Cell's sneaker were recently revealed, showcasing a green, knit upper on the Adidas Prophere, highlighted by a spotted pattern that mirrors Cell's skin, while the purple and navy blue accents further the ties to the character's look. The kicks, releasing alongside a "Son Gohan" Adidas Deerupt, are slated to drop sometime in October for the retail price of $150.
It's unknown how many pairs of each Dragon Ball Z collab will release but rumors suggest they could be limited to just 1000 pairs each. All of the collabs will come in specially designed shoe boxes with an image of the character who inspires the design as well as the Adidas Originals logo in place of the star in Dragon Ball Z‘s orange circle motif.
Here's a rundown of when Adidas plans to drop every sneaker in Dragon Ball Z collection:
