Dragon Ball Z is the fan-favorite series in all of Dragon Ball. Of course, Dragon Ball Super was an amazing series that redeemed the Saiyans after the madness that was GT. Still, the sagas surrounding Frieza, the Androids, Cell, and Majin Buu will always hold a special place in the heart of Dragon Ball fans. During the span of the Z series, there were several classic films released about the main characters. Now, Toei Animation is bringing three of those movies back to theaters for a limited time.
According to EW, Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan will debut in U.S. cinemas on Saturday, September 15 and Monday, September 17. The film originally debuted in 1993, and followed the story of the Z fighters as they battle Broly, one of the last survivors of the Saiyan race. Toei Animation will return in November for what they are calling the Dragon Ball Z Saiyan Double Feature, which consists of Dragon Ball Z: Bardock — The Father of Goku and Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn. The two films will hit theaters on Saturday, November 3 and Monday, November 5.
The films will be fully remastered and will feature English dubs. Tickets can be purchased on Fathom Events’ website.
