Dragon Ball Z video games have always been addicting. Bandai Namco dropped Dragon Ball FighterZ in January, the latest epic brawler game in the anime series' extensive catalog of fighting games. The base roster included 24 playable characters, and now Bandai Namco is introducing new players to the mix. Today (March 27), Bandai released a trailer revealing Super Saiyan Broly and Bardock, both of whom will be available as downloadable content (DLC) tomorrow.
Legendary Super Saiyan Broly looks massive alongside other playable characters, which really gives gamers a feel for the ridiculously powerful character. On the other hand, Bardock, Goku's father, looks agile and quick, using his speed to easily maneuver around Frieza in the trailer. In both trailer sequences, storylines from the series are briefly touched on (Such as Frieza destroying the Saiyans).
For gamers who own The FighterZ Pass (which cost $35), Broly and Bardock will be added automatically. The pass allows gamers to get all the planned DLC characters when they are released. Several other characters are expected to be released within the next few months.
For gamers who don't own the pass, Super Saiyan Broly and Bardock can be purchased individually. Bandai Namco hasn't revealed how much they will cost.
