Donald Trump has only thanked Kanye West for his sudden support over Twitter, but today for the first time Ye has received a public shout out from the President during a speech at an NRA Convention. After our previous post reporting that Trump's support among black men have doubled - going from 11% to 22% in the past week - the President has now thanked Ye for his work in making it a reality.
"African American unemployment has reached another all-time - in history record - history low. Kanye West must have some power," Donald said to the audience, revealing the jump in numbers. "When I saw the numbers I said there must be a mistake how can that happen. Even the posters thought there must be a mistake...now we've come a long way."
Although Black men have grown to support Trump more, Black women are not on the same bandwagon. The president's approval rating among the ladies has only jumped three percent to 9% from 6%.
"You know, Kanye has a lot of love for all of you, all of his fans, and everybody who’s been there to support him forever, and, I know that he will explain himself in his own way," Kanye's Mom-In-Law Kris Jenner said. "I just think this is important to say, he always does things with really good intentions. I’m going to let him explain himself when the time is ready and I just keep rolling on. Trying to keep up with the Kardashians."
