Creator/executive producer/writer/director/actor Donald Glover arrives at FX's 'Atlanta Robbin' Season' FYC Event at the Saban Media Center on June 8, 2018 in North Hollywood, California.
"Guava Island" will debut at Coachella 2019.

It's about to be a big weekend for Donald Glover. Not only will he be headlining the first night of Coachella 2019 as Childish Gambino but the following day, he'll be premiering his mysterious new film Guava Island which also stars Rihanna. Unfortunately, not all of us will be able to make our way to Polo Grounds to peep the Hiro Murai-directed flick in the flesh but Glover's given fans at home an alternative to watch the film.

There are a few ways you could watch Guava Island this weekend. It was previously reported that YouTube will debut the film during their Coachella Live Stream but Glover revealed that it'll be available on Amazon Prime starting at 12:01 a.m. PST on Saturday, April 13th. It'll be available for free for 18 hours following its debut. Amazon will also stream it on their Twitch platform.

The film is described as a "tropical thriller" where Glover takes on the role of a local musician who's determined to throw a festival for his island community.

"I’m really humbled having the opportunity to present something this timely and timeless. Between Rihanna and the people of Cuba, this is one of my favorite projects I’ve ever worked on," Glover said in a statement.

Keep your eyes peeled for Donald Glover and Rihanna's Guava Island film premiering this weekend.
