On Friday, DJ Khaled hosted Khaled-Con at MTV's studio in New York as he unveiled four visuals to his singles from the recently released Father of Asahd. He premiered "Jealous" with Big Sean, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown; "Just Us" featuring SZA; "Celebrate" with Travis Scott and Post Malone; and "Higher" with Nipsey Hussle and John Legend. However, the day wouldn't be complete without just one more, so Khaled also dropped a visual for "Holy Mountain" featuring Buju Banton, Sizzla, Mavado, & 070 Shake. The islands-inspired single was directed by Eif Rivera and Khaled in Jamaica with their whole crew on deck.
During Khaled-Con, the superstar producer spoke about his vision in creating Father of Asahd. "I was just trying to put this one record or two records out before my album came out," he said. "But I thought, you know what, Imma put my whole album out, but Imma give you like, seven, eight singles. So when the album drop, it's really the whole album [is] singles, but really it's eight singles that I'm challenging radio. I'm challenging TV. I'm challenging streaming services. I challenge myself."
"It's time for us to evolve. If you gon' be a leader in the game, you gotta lead to be greatness. I can't just lead and then continue to do traditional stuff. I gotta be disruptive. I gotta take chances. I gotta do big things and continue to do more."
