"The Lion King" is set for a July 19th release.

If you're a 90's baby with an affinity for Disney movies, especially the classics than you probably love The Lion King. It's an animated movie that has stood the test of time and has made audiences nostalgic every time it comes on TV. Of course, all the Disney lovers out there got excited at the prospect of a live-action movie which is on the way thanks to Director Jon Favreau. The movie is coming out on July 19th and of course, Disney has been teasing us with visuals from the movie ever since. Back in November of 2018, Disney shared the teaser trailer for the movie and just yesterday during the Oscars, Disney dropped an official trailer dubbed "Long Live The King."

Those familiar with the film will be hit with some pretty nostalgic vibes as the classic song "The Circle of Life" plays over visuals of Rafiki lifting Simba up over the crowd.

The visuals for the film look pretty incredible and with a star-studded cast, this will probably be one of the biggest movies this summer. Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino will be playing the role of Simba, while James Earl Jones is returning as Mufasa. Nala will be played by BeyoncĂ©, while Scar is voiced by Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Are you looking forward to the new Lion King film?
