Digital Nas & Lil Yachty Return With "The Lost Files 2" EP

The release comes nearly two years after "The Lost Files."

Longtime collaborators Digital Nas and Lil Yachty are back together once again to give fans a new, seven-track EP titled The Lost Files 2. In the late summer of 2016, these two joined forces for The Lost Files, but there were only four songs on that album. Following the release of the How High 2 trailer, a film starring Lil Yachty and DC Young Fly, the rapper seems to be readying himself for a steady release of new music. Just a few days ago, both he and Chance The Rapper surprised fans with their single, "Atlanta House Freestyle."

The producer-rapper pair don't hold to any conventional rap rules on The Lost Files 2. It's one of those records that is an acquired taste, as they experiment with rhythms and tempos as well and sounds. These two have a musical chemistry that goes beyond just hitting the studio together, as Digital Nas told Elevator Magazine that he and Yachty treat each other like family. "We’re real brothers, we’re real friends. It’s a blessing to be able to work with your best friend."
