The hip-hop community hasn't been quiet since the tragic passing of Nipsey Hussle who was gunned down in Los Angeles yesterday. Some statements have been short and sweet, stating how impactful and generous Nipsey was to his community while other messages expressed the anger surrounding Nipsey's killing.
"I hate u ni**as wit a passion I feel such a sense of rage. I’m sick of u people killing each other. It’s pathetic i hate it. I’m shaking. I’m disgusted," K. Michelle wrote on Twitter. "You stupid muthafuckas how could you. We needed Nipsey. His child needed him. I Listened to this man to help me cope with life."
Diddy has now come through to share a video of some studio time with him and Nipsey, along with Lauren London and Cassie (among others) as they put the finishing touches on his album, specifically the track "Blue Laces 2."
"Wow. I don’t even know what to say. I’m confused. Nipsey and I had just started really getting to know each other. I feel honored to have worked on his project. Nipsey represents change, he represents evolution, he represents everything our culture needs to embrace." Diddy captioned the video. "Black ownership. Black love. Black wealth. God bless you and your family King. @laurenlondon whatever you need we are here for you. My family is your family."
