Diddy and his ex-partner Kim Porter shared an unbreakable bond that transcended their non-marital commitment some years ago. They shared a bond forged over their shared commitment to their children, no custody agreement was ever needed to disperse of their income or responsibilities.
As adults, they were free to date other people, when they weren't "together," between the years 1994-2017. So it comes as no surprise that Diddy has not taken well to the news of her passing. People mag has learned that "Diddy is devastated and shocked. He and Kim were still very close friends and co-parents even though their romantic relationship didn’t work," a source close to the situation is reporting.
Porter, 47, was found unresponsive in her home yesterday. The cause of her death has yet to be determined. Although it's unfair to mount such weight on Diddy's in the wake of her passing, Porter was by all accounts "the love of his life," and the mother of four of his five children, including Christian Combs aka King Combs, an emerging hip-hop talent in his own right.
Celebrities and public figures who understood the depth of their relationship have come out to lend their support to Diddy. On an occasion like this, only the present moment is of any relevance. All my love goes to Diddy and his coterie.
