Yesterday, rapper ZillaKami was on his way to perform at South By Southwest when he was stopped at an airport and taken into police custody. While reports circled that he was caught carrying a machete, his management quickly clarified that Zilla was nabbed due to an existing arrest warrant. "Zilla was not carrying a machete, he had a warrant out for his arrest and was taken while heading to SXSW," reads the statement. "He will be back ASAP hopefully in time for his show."
While fans wait for an update, Denzel Curry has weighed in with some words of encouragement. "Free My Twin Brother Zillakami," writes Zel, via Instagram. "Return Godzilla."
