As expected, Denzel Curry just released the second act in his TA1300 project today, rolling out 5 more new songs out of the 13 in total. The one track that everyone was eager to hear prior to its release was the collaboration with Dreamville rapper J.I.D called “Sirens Z1RENZ,” which we’ve decided to highlight for y’all right here.
Over production from DJ Dahi, Denzel delivers an aggressive, lyrically-conscious record that finds him addressing things such as police brutality, gun violence, media and terrorism, while the sirens are symbolic of the justice system in America. J.I.D on the other hand uses a softer tone & switches up his flow on the second verse, showing off his rapid fire delivery and rapping about social injustices, among other things.
Speaking earlier with Zane Lowe on working with J.I.D, Denzel said: “He's the only person in this game that got me to write. His verse was so hard on that shit, I was like, 'I'm going back in I’ma do that. He's a lyricist, for sure.”
Take a listen to the dope new collab and sound off in the comments. Record available on iTunes.

Ba-aby, I’m a fool because I thought you would stay whether I win or I lose
They already think we dead
But they continue to shoot, I'm just gon' cover my head
I need to duck and I move, I bust a move when I
