Shortly after the initial reports of Demi's hospitalization, Variety reported that she was in stable condition. Her aunt, Kerissa Dunn, also stated that she was "awake and responsive."
A rep from her family said, "Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support. Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy... "
Following the news of Demi's hospitalization, FOX pulled the episode of "Beat Shazam" that she was supposed to star in tonight. In a statement, they said, "In light of recent reports, we have decided to replace the episode of BEAT SHAZAM with another all-new episode. Our thoughts go out to Demi and her family."
In addition, Demi Lovato's scheduled performance in Atlantic City this coming Thursday has been cancelled.
