It's been a particularly fruitful season for Deante' Hitchcock. Fresh off a supporting run on 6LACK's East Altana Love Letter Tour, the RCA signee found himself among the host of talent invited to put in work at Dreamville'sRevengee Of The Dreamers 3 recording sessions at the top of the year.
While he's remained active on social media, being sure to satiate fans with the occasion freestyle and remix, the South Atlanta emcee now shares his first official drop of the year with his "7:45" single. On the song in question, Deante's usually quieted southern swagger is replaced with a difference in delivery, as he pleads to a past lover, nearly shouting on the track in a sense of urgency to get that old thing back.
Previously, Deante' used his platform on tour to preview the cut live for fans in attendance and with its studio arrival, we're gifted to a proper visual to match.
This rollout may very well point toward the emcee's major label debut. 2017 marked the release of his So Much For Good Luck EP, putting a hold on what was slated to be a trilogy of projects titled Good, Better, and Best. Currently, we're still waiting on the last two to complete the cypher, but until then, get into "7:45."
Quotable Lyrics
You know I can't find another you
You know you can't find another me
I know I was playin' with your heart
This time, if we play, we play for keeps
