CyHi The Prynce is still enjoying the success of his stellar No Dope On Sundays album, which was released November 17th to critical acclaim. Now, the G.O.O.D. Music lyricist is back with a little more knowledge for his eager fans, shedding some light on ghostwriting and his own experience with collaborative projects. There's an interesting moment when CyHi reflects on what might have been, revealing he once planned on doing a joint album with Yelawolf and Big K.R.I.T called Country Cousins.
"I think it was around the time that Curren$y, Wiz & Big Sean was going to do an album," says CyHi. "So we were thinking we should do one for the up-and-coming South lyricists. It was always a thought, we just never put it together...We talked to J Cole about it, that would have been crazy." Unfortunately, Country Cousins fell victim to the busy schedules of the minds behind it, but that hasn't stopped CyHi from revealing his ideal collaboration tape in 2017.
"Me, Kendrick, & J Cole," says CyHi. "That would be my dream come true."
