Cozz reveals that something special is coming between him and Reason.

Cozz and Reason are no strangers. The pair of rappers are members of two of the most respected rap imprints in the game right now, with Dreamville Records home to the former, and TDE housing the latter. They've collaborated before too, with their stand-out "Lambo Truck" off the Dreamville crew compilation receiving a visual treatment. It appears these two have more music in the works together, though.

Riffing on Twitter, the highly underrated emcee Cozz revealed to fans that he and Reason have a joint album they're working on together. "Man this project between me and reason gon be something special. Just wait on it," Cozz shared. When a salty fan replied with a strategy of his own, Cozz was having none of it.

"Idk...... i feel like yall should take the cole and kendrick route. Just build your greatness to the point where u don't need another artist. I still haven't listened to a full ep/lp by u bro," the user wrote in response. Cozz shot him down: "Doing music w somebody doesn’t mean u need them lol."

Reason, for his part, hasn't made mention of this joint effort just yet, but we'll be keeping tabs. This news, though, does come on the heels of another semi-announcement from the Dreamville/TDE camps-- that the long-awaited J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar joint project may not be entirely dead yet. There's still hope.

Let us know if you're excited for the music. Check out Cozz's tweet below.
