If you somehow missed it, Conor McGregor was all over the news Thursday after he attacked a bus full of UFC fighters at media day in Brooklyn, New York. Footage surfaced that showed Conor literally throwing a dolly at the window of the bus, shattering it instantly and having glass go all over the fighters on the bus. The outburst came after Dana White announced that the winner of this Saturday’s fight between Max Holloway and Khabib Nurmagomedov would earn the lightweight championship belt, effectively stripping McGregor of his lightweight title, something he obviously didn't take lightly. Both of those fighters were on the bus at the time of the incident, hence what triggered Conor to wild out.
Immediately after the incident, Conor fled the scene before authorities could speak with him, and reports were saying a warrant was out for his arrest. While that warrant didn't appear to be true, the police did want to speak with Conor, and on Thursday night their wishes came true when McGregor turned himself into the police.
Sources told TMZ that Conor has been charged with 2 counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of felony criminal mischief. One assault charge is for the injuries caused to Chiesa's face, and the other is for allegedly punching someone in the face several times. The felony mischief charge is for the damages to the bus, which amounts to approximately $8,000.
