YouTube enters the 9th year of their Coachella partnership with a promise to publish live content two-weeks straight.

YouTube is fully on board with Coachella's fully fledged plan to live-stream both weekends of their 2019 festival. What makes this year's arrangement different from the past 8th years both sides had done business, is that 2019 marks the year both Coachella weekends receive live-streaming coverage. As reported, the Coachella festival runs for two weekends in the Spring: April 12-14, with duplicate performances the very next weekend on April 19-21 - all taking place on terrain owned by the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Besides giving the Coachella its most in-depth look to date, YouTube's agreement allows its Music and Premium subscribers priority access to tickets when the box office opens tomorrow at 11 am Pacific Time. If you happen to be a YouTube Premium subscriber, an access code will be e-mailed to you directly before the gates are opening on the 4th.

YouTube and Coachella negotiated a three-year extension to business arrangement last year, seeing them through to 2021 or the soonest point of re-negotiation. Spokespeople at YouTube refer to their efforts this year as a "curated live experience" replete with vignettes, behind the scenes access, and portraits of the artists enlisted. The 2019 tourney is set to include Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, Ella Mai, and the artist currently known as "Gucci Gang."
