aChris Brown's getting ready for the release of his next project, Indigo. The singer's new project is the follow-up to 2017's Heartbreak In A Full Moon -- his double-disc effort including 40 tracks. While the length of the project was a complaint among many people who simply felt 40 was too many songs, it looks like Indigo might be a shorter effort but not that much shorter.
The number of songs included on Chris Brown's next project will reflect the amount of time he's spent on this planet. That's right, with the singer's 30th birthday on the way, he revealed his next project will be 30 songs -- one for each year he's been living.
Brown shared the news on Instagram along with a photo revealing that his last opus has spent 400 weeks on the Billboard 200 in total.
"400 weeks!!! IM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS INDIGO ALBUM NOW! ( oh, and just to let y’all in on a lil secret) IM TURNING 30 so there will be 30 songs on this one," he wrote before seemingly taking a jab at those against the lengthy tracklist. "SORRY NOT SORRY."
With the project reportedly set to arrive in June, the singer recently shared a list of artists you could expect on the project. His long-awaited collab with Drake will be on the project. Breezy also tapped Tyga, Nicki Minaj, G-Eazy, Sage The Gemini and more for assistance.
Indigo will serve as Chris Brown's first project released since announcing his new partnership with RCA.
