Pittsburgh's Choo Jackson has been putting in work over the years. He's been working with ID Labs and they've proved their chemistry with one and another on wax. As he prepares to drop his upcoming project, today the first single off of Parade, "Talk."
With the assistance of Rob $tone, the two rappers connect to let you know that there is "no need to talk when everything speaks for itself," according to Jackson. The hook says it all, "My outfit still cost your whole rent/I be throwing back the liquor, have me feeling all sick/ I might spend a grip/ on my shoes, on my fit/ I ain't gotta talk shit, I ain't gotta talk shit." It's a solid introduction for his upcoming project. It's Jackson in his most comfortable form, and he's not here to impress anyone at that.
It's a tough tune with production by ID Lab's Big Jerm, E.Dan as well as Jay Card. Choo Jackson's shows his confidence and charisma that's hard to ignore. Especially with Rob $tone's assistance on the track, the two link up for a big song that's bound to make heads turn.
Choo Jackson told HNHH about the song's inception. He says, "I connected with Rob $tone thru E. Dan from ID Labs. They met in LA and he fucked with the song and jumped on it!"
"Talk" isn't like most things you've heard from Choo Jackson. It's a much heavier tune that also helps showcase his diversity and his ability to hold his own. With Rob $tone holding it down on this track with him, Choo Jackson still makes sure that what he says on this track resonates with the listeners. With Parade set to drop for September 15th, "Talk" will have you counting down the days until the project drops.
Quotable Lyrics
Bitches taking downers,
How the fuck do they take downers?
I need a money counter,
Too much money on the counter
