It was Friday evening that sisters Chloe x Halle appeared for a performance on James Corden’s The Late Late Show to deliver on a live rendition of their “Everywhere” single with money motifs dominating the stage as the duo performed alongside an eight piece band of female instrumentalists, including a full string quartet while everyone onstage rocked outfits made of money.
“This song we wrote means so much to us because it’s about manifesting wealth in all aspects of life x speaking it into existence..love, happiness, abundance..your dreams can be reality if u believe in yourself,” the pair wrote on Twitter following their performance.
The original version of “Everywhere” can be found on Chloe x Halle’s debut The Kids Are Alright album, which arrived in March of this year with strings appearances from Goldlink, Kari Faux, and Joey Bada$$. This new performance is the latest in a string of wins for the YouTube cover mainstays-turned-budding superstars. They most recently wrapped up a supporting run alongside mentor Beyoncé and Jay-Z for the couple’s On The Run II tour. This year also marked the strong showing for their roles in black-ish spin-off Grown-ish, starring Yara Shahidi. The show’s second season is set to return in January.
