Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt allegedly punched a man in the face at an Ohio resort following a verbal altercation between Hunt and others at the venue.
According to TMZ Sports, Hunt had been seen hanging out at the pool and the DJ booth at the Bay Lodging Resort in Put-in-Bay, Ohio, and everything was going smoothly until early Sunday morning. The report states that Hunt punched a man, but it does not appear that the recipient of that punch wants to press charges.
Per TMZ Sports:
"We spoke with the alleged victim who tells TMZ Sports he was punched in the face by Hunt ... hard."
"TMZ Sports also spoke with a resort official who confirms there was an incident involving Hunt."
"We're told the man was NOT seriously injured and did not seek medical attention. Hunt was not arrested."
"The alleged victim tells us he does not plan on pressing any charges and just wants to move on with his life."
Hunt, 22, was involved in another off-field altercation back in February, when a 19-year-old woman told police that he pushed her at a hotel in Cleveland. However, Hunt's friends alleged that the accuser called Hunt the "N-word" and punched one of his female friends.
In his rookie season with the Chiefs last year, Hunt rushed for eight touchdowns and an NFL-best 1,327 yards, in addition to 455 receiving yards on 53 catches and three touchdowns.
