See what Twitter had to say following the Bears beatdown of the Seattle Seahawks.

The Chicago Bears hosted the Seattle Seahawks Monday night for the home opener in their 2018-2019 NFL season. Following a heart breaking loss last week against Aaron Rodgers & Green Bay Packers, the Bears took care of business Monday night and got their first win of the season agains Russell Wilson & the Seahawks, winning 24-17.

It was the Bears’ defense that carried the team to victory Monday night with the D recording 6 sacks, fumble recovery, and an interception, the latter of which was a pick 6 and pretty much ended the game in the 4th quarter. "Listen, we have to be nasty, ferocious," Bears defensive lineman Akiem Hicks said. "We want to build something here that is going to be remembered."

As for fantasy impact, Bears’ QB Mitch Trubisky ended up with 200 yards and 2 TDS, while Russell Wilson ended with 2 TDs himself, but with 226 yards. Jordan Howard had 35 yards rushing and 33 receiving yards, while Allen Robinson led the receivers for Chicago with 83 yards. Seahawks’ WR Tyler Lockett lead the Seahawks with 66 yards and a TD for Seattle, while rookie TE, Will Dissly, once again found the end zone for a second straight week.

Next week, the Bears head out to Arizona to take on the Cardinals, while the Seahawks return home for a matchup against the Dallas Cowboys next Sunday.
