The music world was rocked today by the tragic passing of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington. He died at age 41 reportedly of his hand. He leaves behind a combined six children from two marriages, as well as a legion of die-hard admirers and many who said that Bennington was not only an impressive vocal talent, but a kind soul as well.
Needless to say, he and Linkin Park continue to be hugely influential on a generation of creatives and the outpouring of sadness and mourning on social media was almost immediate. From Chance the Rapper to Lil Uzi Vert, many big names from the hip-hop community, as well as the entertainment business as a whole, expressed their reaction online.
