Apparently being a well-known model isn't enough for Chantel Jeffries. She's got the looks, but she's also got the talent, as both a DJ and a producer. Just a few weeks after Chantel Jeffries was spotted getting cozy with The Weeknd at Coachella, the gorgeous and talented model and musician is making headlines for another reason. According to Variety, Jeffries is the first artist to be signed to the new Universal Music Group sub-label called 10:22 pm. The label was only created this year, and is headed by Celine Joshua.
Jeffries will be dropping her new single "Wait" on Friday, which features Offset and Louisville rapper Vory. The song will be featured on her debut EP Calculated Luck, which is set to drop later this year. ”I’m thrilled that Chantel has chosen 10:22 pm as her home," stated label head Joshua. "Where we will work to develop new commercial and creative opportunities for our artists and content creators to advance their careers and reach new fans around the world. From the moment I met Chantel, I knew she was a creative force with a unique ear for music, and I’m honored that she’s the first artist to sign to my new label.”
Jeffries produced and co-wrote "Wait."
