Chance The Rapper jumped on Twitter earlier today to share the adorable story of when he first met his fiancee and soon to be wife, Kirsten Corley. The two lovebirds met when Chance was a youth and his dad brought him to an office party. While there, Kirsten and her two friends performed a Destiny's Child song for the crowd and the second Chance laid his eyes on Kirsten he knew.
“Now I’m locking eyes with the prettiest girl I ever seen in my almost-a-decade of life on earth,” he wrote on Twitter. The "No Problem" music maker explained how he was nervous and "shy" to approach his new found crush but it was only because he knew it was a serious one.
“Not just because it wasn’t my party, not because it was their moment to dance, not even cause I was nervous about dancing in front of folks," he wrote. “It’s cause I knew I was gonna marry that girl. And I aint [sic] wanna jump the gun … so I … moved to the back of the crowd and never even introduced myself.”
Chance ended his Twitter story announcing that this weekend he will finally be marrying the love of his life. “16 years later it’s happening,” he wrote. “This wknd is the time, and the place is my wedding. I’m gonna dance with my wife because this is my destiny.”
