Over the past few months, Chance The Rapper has shown interest in stepping into the movie world. The rapper flexed his acting abilities on Saturday Night Live earlier this month and has hit Twitter to share his deep analysis of several movies including Netflix's "Bright." So it should come as no surprise that he probably has a few movie ideas on his mind that he's been waiting to execute. The rapper hit Twitter earlier today to share one of his movie pitches.
Chance The Rapper wants to make a holiday musical/suspense thriller in the vein of "A Christmas Carol," "It’s a Wonderful Life" or "What Women Want" except it stars Donald Trump and an old iPod. Essentially, the vague plot he threw into the Twittersphere is Trump receiving his first iPod ever. In addition, it's not only his first iPod but the first time he's listened to music and the iPod consists of music from the past, present and the future. Ultimately, the iPod and the music on it would change Trump's perspective on the world. While he has the premise to the movie, he invited his followers to help him out with a title and ending.
Who knows if Chance is actually serious about this endeavor but it sounds like it would be a pretty solid holiday film for the next season. On top of that, Donald Trump is essentially like a modern day Scrooge so the concept of it wouldn't be too far fetched. Hopefully, Chance ends up making this happen.
