Less than 24 hours after sharing a preview of an upcoming T-Pain remix of "Bartier Cardi," Cardi B has announced that her music video for the same song is on the way. Her long-awaited debut studio album is still in the works, although Cardi has promised that it is coming soon, the rapper has made the same vague claims about the upcoming video for her 21 Savage-assisted single. Sharing to her Instagram story, Cardi insisted that she is never done proving herself, which is undeniably a strong character trait to possess. As a female rapper, Cardi B will almost certainly be regarded as a perennial underdog throughout her career and keeping a mentality that you constantly need to prove yourself is key to succeed in that territory.
Cardi hinted that she may have a new song or video dropping soon, in addition to the "Bartier Cardi" visuals, writing, "Might give yaa alittle [sic] something early.." Cardi has previously limited her releases, strategizing a continuation of the success of her two 2017 singles that garnered her the attention of the world.
With the announcement that the video is on the way, it remains unclear when we can expect the visuals to officially drop. For now, we will attempt to patiently wait for the arrival of her debut album, as well as the music video for "Bartier Cardi."
